Sam received his PhD in biomechanics and kinesiology from the University of UW-Madison, and his PTA degree from MATC. Prior to joining Affiliated Health of WI in 2008 he taught basic biomechanics and kinesiology for 2 years at UW-Madison and conducted research in the department of neurology at UW-Madison on Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, and Multiple Sclerosis. In his free time Sam enjoys hiking, biking, downhill skiing, and traveling.

Treating Philosophy:

Treating Philosophy: Sam has attended numerous continuing education courses on myofascial release techniques related to cranio-facial disorders. He enjoys helping patients who are suffering from TMJ disorders, headaches, and pelvic alignment issues. Sam believes in patient-therapist teamwork to empower each patient to accelerate their healing process. He also believes that each patient is unique and, therefore, treatment of the condition should be tailored to best fit the patient’s needs.
